Cylinder Servicing

Cylinder Servicing

The scuba cylinder servicing package comprises full external and internal visual inspection to detect corrosion, dents, cracks or damage, followed by hydrostatic testing to ensure the cylinder can safely withstand its working pressure. The valve is stripped, cleaned, lubricated and rebuilt with replacement parts where required, then reassembled and pressure-tested. Cylinders that pass inspection are stamped and certified for continued use. Refilling with clean, dry compressed air is available once servicing is complete.

The oxygen cleaning service ensures that scuba cylinders and valves are free from contaminants such as oil, grease, and particulates that could react with high concentrations of oxygen. The process includes a thorough cleaning of both the internal cylinder surface and valve components, followed by inspection, testing, and replacement of all dynamic seals with oxygen-compatible parts.

This process typically takes about 5–7 working days depending on testing schedules and load, sometimes up to 2 weeks. Cost ranges from MYR 310 to MYR 450 for inspection and hydro test, plus any valve parts required. Extra charges apply for cylinders that are heavily corroded or require additional treatment to restore safe condition.

Key Points:
For Scuba cylinders servicing – full visual inspection, hydrostatic test, valve rebuild, reassembly, and certification.

For Oxygen cleaning – comprehensive cleaning of the cylinder and valve, including valve testing and replacement of all dynamic seals with oxygen-compatible materials.

Scuba cylinder: MYR310 to MYR450 + valve parts if required.
Oxygen cleaning: MYR 179 (within hydrostatic test date) + parts if required.
Turnaround: 5–14 working days.
Air refill available at MYR 35 per tank.

⚠️ Notes:

Extra charges apply for heavily corroded cylinders or requiring additional treatment.
Additional charges apply for replacement parts if required.
