Cylinder Servicing

Cylinder Servicing

The scuba cylinder servicing package comprises full external and internal visual inspection to detect corrosion, dents, cracks or damage, followed by hydrostatic testing to ensure the cylinder can safely withstand its working pressure. The valve is stripped, cleaned, lubricated and rebuilt with replacement parts where required, then reassembled and pressure-tested. Cylinders that pass inspection are stamped and certified for continued use. Refilling with clean, dry compressed air is available once servicing is complete.

This process typically takes about 5–7 working days depending on testing schedules and load, sometimes up to 2 weeks. Cost ranges from MYRxxx to MYRxxxfor inspection and hydro test, plus any valve parts required. Extra charges apply for cylinders that are heavily corroded or require additional treatment to restore safe condition.
